Beyond checking official pages, we sign up for some tools and use them for one session. Each test lists the plan, setup time, what worked, what didn't, and screenshots. One tester, one session, no funded accounts, no ratings. Education only. How we review.

• Claude / Claude Code: We tried to create a new account on Oct 22, 2026 and got "Claude is not available to new users right now" after a captcha. Hands-on test pending.
